Ghoshpukur College is the first general degree college in Phansidewa Block, Darjeeling which offers B.A., B.Com & B.Sc (Computer Science, Physics & Mathematics) Courses. The college is affiliated under University of North Bengal and was established in the year 2018. The college is a boon for students in this area. Looking at the great demand of the local people to establish a college in Ghoshpukur, Hon. Chief Minister, Mamata Bandyopadhya inaugurated our Ghoshpukur College on 11th July, 2018. The college is affiliated to University of North Bengal and offers Undergraduate Courses like B.A., B.Com & B.Sc (Computer Science, Physics & Mathematics).

Before the establishment of Ghoshpukur College, students of this area had to go to Islampur College or to Bagdogra College thereby travelling around 30-35 Kms. for higher education. on a daily basis. After the establishment of Ghoshpukur College many students are benefited. In the beginning year itself, above 900 students took admission in the college. The college is situated on Luispukur Road, 2 km far from Ghoshpukur More on NH 31 & has a beautiful landscape.
